ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Scholar Evolution was founded by Denise Paneduro, PhD, an educator, researcher, academic mentor, and faculty member at the University of Toronto. Drawing upon extensive experience across teaching, mentorship, and research in higher education, Denise brings a multidisciplinary and internationally informed perspective to academic mentorship.

In her faculty roles at the University of Toronto’s Dalla Lana School of Public Health and in Psychology at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, as well as her clinical research role at Sinai Health System, Denise has mentored students across all stages of the academic pathway. Her institutional background includes serving on Research Ethics Boards, graduate scholarship review committees, Master’s and Doctoral admissions committees, and dissertation defense committees. She also has extensive graduate-level teaching experience in research methods and mental health. 

Her scholarly expertise spans quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods research design, data analysis, proposal development, peer-reviewed publications, conference and oral defense presentations, and institutional mentorship partnerships. This breadth of experience informs Scholar Evolution’s approach to compassionate, ethical mentorship and a genuine commitment to the development of confident, capable, and engaged scholars who contribute innovative ideas and make a positive impact in their respective fields.
